    Revo ROM versions

    Hi all,

I am trying to collect all produced ROM versions of Revo. Could please contribute to this statistics and write what is yours?

    My two Revos:

    Type, Language, Version(Build)
    Revo+, UK, 1.06(390)
    Revo+, UK, 1.06(359)'

(I am interested what was modified/patched in each ROM version).

    Thanks.

My mako (a badged 16MB REVO) is identified as:

    REVO, USA, 1.06(390)

I had expected the build for USA to be different to that for UK.

    Regards
    Colin

Got another one since my last post:

Are you still doing this, osg?

I have some version of the revo conan here (the bluetooth revo) with epoc r5 version 1.07 (3)

It does not appear to be the same conan found on the russian website, it looks more like a revo plus and does not have the black looks. It actually says revo plus, and there is no mention of bluetooth in the OS, so I think it is an earlier prototype (it does have a blue backlight and the peaked lid with bluetooth LED).

I am planning to stick linux on it and see if I can get bluetooth working.
Im told its an illness - I got hooked on Psions at a young age and now I cant stop

Will have a go at this at some point soon (just saw your post).... don't frequent these boards too often any more.

I may need to replace the batteries first though, as currently it only stays turned on if I hold down the on (esc) key.

I looked into disassembling it not so long ago, but I'm hampered by the fact that they seem to have used a much stronger glue on the keyboard of this model than with the old Revos - it is difficult if not impossible to remove without destroying the keyboard. I'd like to take a look and see if it really has a bluetooth chip in there.
